AAF–Cedar Valley Welcomes Katie Kreis-Voigt as New Board Member and Communications Chair

WATERLOO, Iowa – AAF Cedar Valley is thrilled to announce the appointment of Katie Kreis-Voigt as the newest member of its board. Kreis-Voigt will serve as the Communications Chair, leveraging her extensive background in marketing and communications to elevate the organization’s presence in the community.

Kreis-Voigt is currently a vital part of the creative marketing team at the University of Northern Iowa’s Business & Community Services. Her role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, including content writing, social media strategy, web and graphic design, and public relations. She actively engages with Iowa's family-owned businesses, oversees marketing operations, and produces essential materials for state and federal relations initiatives.

In her new role as Communications Chair, Kreis-Voigt is responsible for positioning AAF-Cedar Valley as a leader with local marketing, advertising, communication, and design professions. She will actively promote the club's events and achievements, working to enhance the organization's visibility and foster greater community engagement.

Additionally, Kreis-Voigt is the co-host of @_shesaidpodcast, a platform dedicated to uplifting women in media and promoting women-made media, further highlighting her commitment to empowering voices in the industry.
