Local Graphic Designer Advances to National Competition

April 8, 2009

WATERLOO — Graphic designer Dana Lechtenberg of Waterloo has won a Gold District ADDY® Award for his Rudy’s Tacos Hot Sauces packaging campaign. His work will advance to the national ADDYs competition.

With over 60,000 entries annually, the three-tiered ADDY® Awards is the world's largest advertising competition.

Lechtenberg’s packaging campaign advanced to the district level after winning Best of Show at the AAF-Cedar Valley ADDY Awards in February 2009. He will receive his district honor at the 2009 AAF 9th District ADDY Awards on Saturday, April 25 in Dubuque.

The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association, conducts the ADDY® Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs – including AAF-Cedar Valley – and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.
