President
Laura Hand
VGM Forbin
319.274.4456
| The President is the CEO of the Club—the Head Cheese! Like all elected officials (well, maybe not all), the president keeps the peace, provides leadership and pushes a policy of open and creative thinking. Our Top Dog is also our mouthpiece—speaking for the Club in critical circumstances. |

Vice President
Mike Tyer
Cohesive // Creative & Code
319.231.0673
| The Vice President wields executive authority when the President is incapacitated or otherwise unavailable. The Vice President performs the duties of Treasurer and Secretary if no other knucklehead has been appointed to those important positions. |
|
|
|
Treasurer
Steve Schneider
Strategic Imaging
319.233.3731
| The Treasurer assists the Club in making financially sound decisions, preferably without consulting astrology or psychics. Other duties include balancing the Club’s budgets and books, managing the Club’s financial accounts, and maintaining our membership database. |

|
Past President
Sarah Parsons
Cedar Valley United Way
319.235.6211 ext.20
| The person deserves to put their feet up and drink a pina colada for all their hard work as President. Instead, we show our appreciation by giving them new duties, including ask them to provide historical perspective, counsel, and help with membership development. |

|
ADDY's 1st Chair
Lindsey Christensen
VGM Club
800.363.5480
| The title is a misnomer. This position has nothing to do with sitting down and all about standing up and saluting the area’s best advertising. The First Chair organizes the entire event, including coordinating the venue, recruiting judges, processing entries, and setting up the show. |
|
|
|
Student Outreach
Jamie Alden
Edgecore
319.277.3700
| The Student Outreach position connects college students to AAF-Cedar Valley, and us to the hottest co-ed house parties in town. Just kidding. Unless you know of one. Duties include organizing the annual “Meet the Pros” event, encouraging students to enter work into the ADDY Awards and attend Club events, and meeting with students and professors to learn how we can best serve them. |
|
|
|
Publicity/PR
Katie Noonan
Hellman
319.234.7055 ext. 131
| The Publicity Chair keeps the club in the media, and out of the police logs. Responsibilities include writing news release about club events and distributing them to media, as well as providing copywriting assistance when needed. |
|
|
|
Web Chair
Joel Laneville
Spinutech
319.277.7816
| The Web Chair keeps this website up to date – at least when he or she isn’t getting their avatar out of another sticky situation. He or she also helps streamline online communications, event registration and online forms; sends e-mail blasts about upcoming events; and secures web hosting and domain registration services. |
|
|
|
Sponsorship/Fundraising
Mike Tyer
Cohesive // Creative & Code
319.231.0673
| This Chair matches area businesses with sponsorship opportunities that give us both maximum exposure. There we go again talking about exposing ourselves. He or she also approaches businesses for prizes to give away at Club events. |
|
|
|
Membership
Lindsey Christensen
VGM Club
800.363.5480
| The Membership Chair maintains and grows our membership pool. Be careful, there’s no lifeguard on duty. Duties include updating our prospect and membership lists, and following up with those whose memberships has expired. |
|
|
|
Programming
Mike Tyer
Cohesive // Creative & Code
319.231.0673
| The Programming Chair has perhaps the Club’s most important duty – bringing in national marketing experts to share their insight with you. So hey, no pressure, Programming Chair. He or she plans the year’s four summit workshops and two socials. That includes choosing the event venue; researching and booking speakers; and assisting with speakers’ travel arrangements. |
