AdWars 2011 Rules & Pricing

The Rules

• Six rounds of 10 questions, with liquid courage breaks in between.
• Each question is worth 10 points.
• Questions WILL NOT be repeated, so try to stay conscious.
• Turn in answer sheet after each round immediately when prompted.
• In the event of a tie, there will be tie-breaker questions.
• Decisions of committee judges are final. Don’t be a baby.
• No cell phones, tablets, laptops or other electronic devices. If we catch you using any, you will be publicly humiliated. And, oh yeah, disqualified from that round.

Thursday, October 20th at Becks Sports Pub on University
5:30 p.m. – booze starts flowing
6:30 p.m. – competition starts
???  p.m. – victors are determined

Round 1: Jingles
Round 2: Viral/Social Media
Round 3: Product Placement
Round 4: Slogans
Round 5: Super Bowl
Round 6: Bad Decisions

Bonus Rounds

In between rounds, there will be some challenges to win random prizes.

Pricing & Registration

Team Registration:
Click here to register your team. Only one person (captain) from each team will register. The fee is $80 per team, payable online or at the door. The registration deadline is Thurs., Oct. 13. No registrations will be accepted thereafter. But, if you’re late…

Spectator Tickets
Will be $15 each. If you can’t get yourself together to get registered on time, or are too chicken to play, but still want to come, we think you’ll still have a darn good time watching the action. RSVP for a spectator Ticket here.

Buy an Intern

Want to make sure your food and drinks flow continuously, without having to take your attention away from the game? For a small fee, you can hire an intern as your own personal server. (They can even help with questions. And these kids are SMART.) Trust ‘em? We wouldn’t. Hire ‘em after the internship? That’s YOUR problem.
